Focused on running a security programme — governance, risk and reporting to a board, rather than configuring the technology.

Certified Ethical Hacker
Formally trained in the techniques attackers use. It is difficult to defend against methods you have never seen from the other side.
NCSP
Certified NIST Cybersecurity Professional — Practitioner
Qualified to build and run a security programme against the NIST framework — the structure insurers and larger clients increasingly expect to see behind your answers.

How much does QuantumCare cost?
QuantumCare Sole Trader is £35 per computer per month. QuantumCare Micro Business starts at £204 a month, and QuantumCare Business Pro starts at £710 a month — both priced per Microsoft 365 or Google licensed account. There is no setup fee and no minimum contract term on any package. The only optional extra is email domain protection at £30 per domain per month, which is already included in Business Pro.
I'm a sole trader but I run a limited company — which package am I?
Company structure doesn't decide it; how you work does. If it's just you and your computers, Sole Trader is the right fit — it's priced per computer, so you're not paying for user accounts you don't have. If you have staff with their own Microsoft 365 or Google accounts, you want Micro Business, because protecting those accounts is where most attacks now start.
What happens when I take on my tenth employee?
You move to Business Pro. We'll tell you when you cross the line rather than waiting for you to notice, and we'll walk through what changes before anything is billed. The extra cost buys network-level protection and our time — a vCISO, quarterly reviews, and help with Cyber Essentials or insurance — not just more software.
Can I start on a smaller package and move up later?
Yes, and most businesses do. There's no penalty for moving up and no re-onboarding fee. Moving down is fine too — if we think you're paying for a package you don't need, we'll say so.
Why don't the smaller packages include everything?
Because some of it wouldn't do anything for you. Identity protection bills per Microsoft account, so a sole trader without Microsoft 365 would be paying for a service with nothing to protect. Network vulnerability scanning assumes you have a network to scan, which many one-person businesses don't. We take those out and take the cost out with them, rather than charging you for a longer list.
The tools in Micro Business and Business Pro look similar — what am I actually paying more for?
Access to us, and protection beyond the computers. Business Pro adds scanning of your network and everything facing the internet, automatic backups and firmware updates for your firewall, switches and WiFi, plus a vCISO, written security policies, quarterly reviews, and support getting Cyber Essentials or insurance-ready. We also cap Business Pro at 20 clients and won't take on a direct competitor of yours, which limits how many we can sell.
Is this IT support?
No. QuantumCare is a cyber security service. We keep your systems protected, monitored and patched, and you can call or email us to talk through anything security-related. We don't fix printers, set up new laptops, or run a general helpdesk.
Two flags before this goes live: I've stated "no setup fee and no minimum contract term" and "no penalty for moving up" — confirm both are true. And the Business Pro £710 starting point should be checked against your cost model, since I took it from the link text you pasted rather than the workbook.
