How Do I Get the Email Headers from New Outlook?
Quick Answer
Open the email, click the three dots (...) at the top of the message, then select:
View → View message details
Copy all of the information shown, close the window, create a new email and paste the headers into the message. Microsoft documents this route for New Outlook.
If you have received a suspicious email, your IT or cybersecurity provider may ask you to send them the email headers.
Email headers contain technical information about how the message was sent and which mail servers it passed through.
Important: Please collect the email headers from the original email you received, not from a forwarded copy.
